About Amber Waves

When Debbie and Jim Hosley were married in 1982, Debbie brought with her a rather unusual dowry ~ a herd of registered Pygmy Goats.  Currently they maintain a small herd of 20 goats and produce about 15-20 kids a year.  Jim and Debbie have always believed that quality is better than quantity.

Commitments have prevented Amber Waves from showing in the last few years but their animals have proven show records and continue to win today for their owners in the show ring.  Amber Waves has accumulated 428 champions; 4 Premier Exhibitor awards; 7 Premier Breeder Awards, 5 Herdsman Awards and 1 National Champion Buck Awards and this list is not complete.

Jim has been President of the West Coast Pygmy Goat Association for 5 years and Debbie was the show secretary for numerous pygmy goat shows.

Amber Waves continues to ship nationally with animals shipped to 28 states in the U.S. We also ship internationally with animals  in Canada, and Dubai, United Arab Euphrates.

Visitors are welcome at Amber Waves, but please call ahead to be sure someone will be available to show the animals.  Babies are available year round.
